What is your style of photography?

Our original style and photojournalistic approach is a fresh option for many modern brides that want to have fun on their wedding day. As your photographer, our job is to tell the story of your day and capture the timeless moments as they happen (not as we create them). With two or more photographers included in most of our packages, you have different perspectives being captured at all times, which gives you complete coverage of your big day. We remember how fast our wedding day went and how much we cherished our pictures. We strive to provide brides and grooms with the personal experience.

What is your philosophy towards weddings?

Having been brides ourselves, Brides for Brides Photoraphers share a unique experience and connection with our brides. “Because we’ve walked a day in your heels…” is more than a tag line to us. Everything we do as a business and as photographers revolves around the fact that we are extremely sensitive to brides' needs and we strive to provide every couple with amazing photography and excellent customer service that we would expect for our own weddings. We understand first hand how crazy the planning and the wedding day can be! We work with our couples to ensure their photography will be well planned and organized to help the day run smooth and allow them to truly enjoy their photography experience.

Photographers are one of the few vendors that are with the couple throughout the WHOLE day. Therefore, we believe that there should be a connection between a photographer and the client. Couples should consider this when hiring their photographer! We take pride in building relationships and friendships with our clients, their wedding parties, and their families and friends while offering an unforgettable and professional experience.

Who will be my photographer?

Brides for Brides Photography takes pride in building relationships with our couples and providing the best photography service, therefore, we ALWAYS assign only one of our owners or lead photographer to capture your big day. We schedule engagement sessions and second consultations with the photographer for your wedding so you get to know your photographer before your wedding day. Be aware of companies sending interns or backup photographers to shoot your wedding.

Do you shoot with an assistant?

Yes, most of our packages include a second photographer or assistant.

Do you shoot digitally or with film?

Digital. This means no limit on the amount of pictures shot throughout the day!

Have you shot many weddings or what is your specialty?

Although Brides for Brides Photography offers many services, we do specialize in wedding photography. We have 3 full-time photographers that shoot weddings just about EVERY weekend and we average about 75 weddings a year. Although Brides for Brides Photography specializes in Arizona weddings, we don't stop there. Your wedding is just one of many important milestones in life and we're there to capture them all. We build such strong relationships with our brides and grooms that we capture all the many steps in life, including engagements, maternity, children, family portraits and special events.

Do you shoot in Black or White, Color or both?

Because we shoot in digital, everything is in color as we shoot. Although, the pictures you end up with are a variety of color, black & white and some special effects (i.e. black & white picture with color flowers). Each couple is unique in their personal taste, therefore, we like to encourage couples to tell us what style they like and we will accommodate that.

How many cameras do you generally use?

At any given time, our photographers will have at least two cameras hanging off their body. In addition, we have backup cameras and equipment in our bags.

How many hours can you shoot?

Several of our packages include unlimited time so that we capture your whole day and all the moments as they happen! However, we are always willing to work out a custom time frame depending on the needs of the client.

Do you charge additional for travel time?

We only charge a travel fee if the wedding is located outside the Phoenix Metropolitan area (i.e. Tucson, Sedona, Payson ect.).

Do you have back up photographers?

In addition to our full-time photographers, we have a hand full of back up photographers that we work with regularly. In the unlikely event that one of your photographers is unable to attend your wedding, there will always be a qualified photographer fully prepared to photograph your wedding or event. We have yet to have this happen.

Do we get charged for proofs?

All of our packages include both online proofs through a password-protected gallery and proofs that are printed in 4x6 format. In addition, you receive a copy of all of your pictures on a high-resolution CD with copyright release.

What kind of albums do you offer?

We have traditional albums and magazine style wedding albums and parent albums. You can see images and descriptions of all of our products on our online store www.shop.bridesforbrides.com

How far in advance do we have to set up to reserve you for services?

We strongly encourage all of our couples to reserve their date as soon as possible! We book a year in advance for most weddings, so the sooner the better. Click here to set up your free consultation.

What deposits are required?

We can reserve your date in one of three ways: You can either put 50% down and pay the other 50% 2 weeks prior to the wedding, you can pay the balance in thirds, or we can set up a monthly payment plan where we would divide your balance over the number of months prior to your wedding. There is no interest, so the total amount is the same regardless!
