I was married on May 28, 2005 at St. John Vianney's Catholic Church in Goodyear. We had a morning wedding and an afternoon reception. If I had to describe my wedding in one word it would have to be FUN! I think the most important factor in planning a wedding is to relax and just roll with the punches. We had some obstacles with the weather (103 and super humid), but we didn't let it faze us. My husband and I put much more emphasis on the planning of our marriage than we did on the details of our actual wedding.

Hands down, the best part of my wedding was my father walking me down the aisle. He was in the final stages of cancer, in fact he passed away less than 2 weeks after our wedding. He literally checked out of the hospital and surprised me at the church...I don't think there was a dry eye in the church.

My best advice is to breath and let go of the things you can't control! Your day will come and go so fast, and you don't want to spend the most important day of your life stressed out!
